I enjoy being creative and building things that stand out. What drives me most is showing my children that anything is possible, along with the opportunity to be part of something bigger or to help build something meaningful from the ground up. I aim to bring real value in everything I do, with a strong work ethic and a mindset built on consistency, discipline, and not giving up when things get difficult.

Outside of work, I’m a father of four young children, and that’s something I take a lot of pride in. My son has a goal of becoming a YouTuber, and supporting that inspired me to learn and better understand content creation. Alongside that, I run a motivational channel focused on inspiring others, building strong mindsets, and helping people push through challenges.

Mystermash is a digital branding and marketing business focused on helping entrepreneurs and small business owners stand out in a highly competitive online environment.

The business specializes in creating high impact digital advertisements using AI tools, video editing software, and strategic storytelling techniques. Each piece of content is designed using a structured framework built around strong hooks, clear value, and effective calls to action (CTA), with the goal of increasing engagement, visibility, and conversions.

What makes this project unique is that it was not only developed as part of a college assignment, but also as a real-world business. Alongside the project, a motivational content channel was created and consistently developed, reaching nearly 300,000 views across all platforms, demonstrating real engagement and growth. This provided valuable insight into platform algorithms, audience psychology, and what drives successful digital content.

Mystermash Productions is built on the idea of helping businesses attract attention, generate leads, and convert viewers into customers through strategic and creative advertising.

Proposed Solution

The goal of this project was to develop a digital marketing brand that provides businesses with high-performing video advertisements designed specifically for social media platforms.

The solution was to create a system that focuses on:

  • Capturing attention quickly through strong visual hooks
  • Delivering clear and valuable messaging
  • Converting viewers through strategic calls to action

To support this, I developed:

  • A complete brand identity
  • Video advertisement concepts and visuals
  • A structured digital marketing campaign
  • A responsive landing page designed for conversion

Justification

Social media platforms are highly saturated, making it increasingly difficult for businesses to gain visibility. Many companies struggle with low engagement, ineffective advertising, and wasted marketing budgets.

Mystermash Productions addresses this problem by focusing on content that performs, rather than just content that looks good. The strategy is based on real-world testing through the motivational content channel, where consistent posting, experimentation, and analysis helped identify what works and what does not.

The success of the channel, including over 137,197 views and a large number of engagements in the last 28 days, demonstrates an understanding of platform algorithms and audience behavior. This real data supports the effectiveness of the approach.

Implementation

Brand Development

The Mystermash logo is based on a warrior helmet and shield, representing strength, resilience, and protection. This concept reflects both the brand identity and the personal journey behind the project.

The brand originated during a challenging period, where motivational content became a tool for maintaining focus and discipline. Over time, this evolved into a visual identity that represents overcoming adversity and building a strong mindset.

The color palette uses:

  • Red to represent strength, power, and intensity
  • Yellow/Gold to represent growth, energy, and success

This combination creates a bold and attention-grabbing visual identity that aligns with the goal of standing out in crowded digital spaces.

Digital Advertising Strategy

The core of the project is the development of high-impact video advertisements designed for social media platforms.

Each advertisement follows a structured format:

Example messaging includes:

These ads are designed to:

  • Capture attention immediately
  • Address real pain points
  • Position Mystermash as a solution
  • Encourage action through a clear CTA 

Visuals were created using AI tools, CapCut, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with additional experimentation in music production using FL Studio.

Campaign Strategy

The campaign was structured across three phases:

Month 1: Awareness
Focus on discovery and attracting attention and introducing the brand through strong hooks and engaging visuals.

Month 2: Value & Engagement
Demonstrate expertise by showing how better messaging leads to better results.

Month 3: Conversion
Drive users to the landing page and encourage action through targeted CTAs.

Platforms used include:

  • TikTok (short-form, high-impact content)
  • Instagram (visual engagement)
  • Facebook (target audience presence)
  • YouTube (long-form content)

Landing Page Design

The landing page was designed to convert visitors into leads by guiding them through a clear and structured journey.

Key sections include:

  • Strong headline and value proposition
  • Benefits and service explanation
  • Testimonials and social proof
  • Portfolio examples
  • Clear call to action 

The primary CTA is:
“Book a Free 15 Minute Strategy Call”

The goal is to collect contact information (email, phone) and begin building relationships with potential clients.

Risks & Challenges

One of the main challenges was presenting the business clearly. Since Mystermash Productions is both a brand and a service provider, it was initially difficult to communicate what the business actually offers.

Early attempts focused on showcasing other businesses, which made the messaging unclear. This was resolved by shifting the focus back to Mystermash itself and clearly defining its role as a service provider.

Another challenge was creating effective CTAs. Initial versions felt too generic and lacked emotional impact. Through experimentation, it became clear that successful CTAs must connect directly to the audience’s pain points and desired outcomes.

There is also a potential risk of confusion between the motivational content channel and the business model. This can be addressed in the future by separating the brand into multiple focused segments or operating Mystermash as a parent company.

Final Outcome

Mystermash Productions demonstrates how strategic thinking, creative execution, and real-world testing can be combined to build a strong digital marketing brand.

The project successfully integrates:

  • Branding and identity design
  • Digital advertising strategy
  • Content creation and testing
  • Landing page design and conversion strategy 

The growth of the motivational content channel provides real evidence of engagement and audience understanding, supporting the effectiveness of the approach.

Moving forward, this project has the potential to evolve into a fully operational business, offering digital marketing services to clients and expanding into multiple brand segments.

Reflection

This project helped me understand the difference between creating content and creating content that converts.

I learned that a digital marketing campaign requires more than just posting ads, it needs a clear plan, structure, and consistent strategy to produce real results. I also realized that successful marketing goes beyond visuals, focusing on understanding the audience, their problems, and communicating value clearly.

Daily content creation played a key role, allowing me to test ideas, analyze results, and improve over time. This hands-on experience provided insights beyond theory and reinforced the importance of adaptability. Letting go of ideas I was attached to helped strengthen the overall outcome.

This experience has strengthened my interest in digital marketing, audience psychology, and content strategy, while building a strong foundation for future growth.
