Communication Design Diploma
2025

I’m Tosin, a product and UI/UX designer from Lagos with a love for bold, expressive, and eccentric branding. I geek out over dark themes, rich browns, and interfaces that just make sense. For me, design is all about crafting functional, intuitive, and scalable experiences that feel as good as they look. I obsess over every detail, from early user research all the way through prototyping, testing, and visual design. Nothing excites me more than turning complex problems into beautifully simple, human-centered solutions.

Capstone project

Infinite Burn

A Bold Approach to Streetwear Branding & Web

Infinite Burn is a bold, urban streetwear brand made for people who aren’t afraid to stand out. This project brought together branding and web design to build a digital experience that feels just as fearless as the clothes. The brand blends street art inspiration with sustainability and inclusivity, aiming to connect with Gen Z and young millennials who care about what they wear and how it’s made.

The final result is a clean and expressive WordPress website that feels like a digital extension of the brand. It introduces the identity, helps customers shop with ease, and lays the groundwork for future growth with a flexible e-commerce setup.

Process

Discovery

To start, I took a deep dive into the world of streetwear. I analyzed brands like Off-White and Allbirds to spot patterns and gaps. I created three user personas: Maya (a sustainability-conscious yogi), Kai (a trendsetter with a big social presence), and Ethan (a student on a tight budget). These fictional characters helped guide every major design decision.

Branding

I created a dynamic visual identity centered around an infinite loop logo representing limitless creativity. The colors—Engineering Orange and Floral White—are vibrant and versatile, with bold typography to match. I documented all the design elements in a comprehensive brand style guide.

Development

I built the site on WordPress with a fully custom theme. Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, I focused on clarity, easy navigation, and strong calls-to-action. The site was designed mobile-first and tested across devices to ensure it felt smooth and consistent everywhere.

Challenges & Solutions

One big challenge was making sure the brand stayed visually consistent on every screen size. I solved this with responsive design techniques and lots of device testing. Another challenge was creating a secure and simple e-commerce flow—from product discovery to checkout—which I achieved using WooCommerce and clean, intuitive UI design.

Results

Infinite Burn now has a strong and clear brand look that the people it was made for genuinely connect with. The website is modern and easy to use, designed with intuitive navigation, bold visuals, and responsive layouts. From clear call-to-actions to a seamless shopping flow, the platform makes discovering and buying streetwear simple and fun.

The best part? It’s set up to grow—with space for future features like a blog, loyalty program, or even AR try-ons. It’s not just a website—it’s a brand experience that’s ready for what’s next.

Reflection

This project reminded me that user-first design is everything. It’s not just about making things look good—it’s about making them feel good, too. By building from real insights and testing every step of the way, I shaped a brand experience that speaks directly to the people it was made for.

To me, bold doesn’t just mean loud—it means intentional, expressive, and human. It means designing with heart.
