NR Property Management

NR Property Management is a web application designed to optimize the process of managing and tracking maintenance requests. The app allows users to easily submit requests, while administrators can accept, update, and manage each request in real-time. Customers receive instant notifications and can monitor the progress of their requests, ensuring greater transparency and communication throughout the process.
This app addresses the inefficiencies of traditional maintenance management systems, such as emails and paper forms, which can be slow, error-prone, and difficult to track. By providing a digital solution, NR Property Management enhances workflow efficiency, reduces manual effort, and ensures faster response times. This results in a more organized and streamlined maintenance request system, leading to improved service delivery and client satisfaction.

Target Audience
For this project, I first identified the target audience, which consisted of two main groups: tenants and admins. Tenants are homeowners or renters who require maintenance services for their properties, while admins are property managers or service providers responsible for overseeing the management of maintenance requests. I focused on creating an app that would meet the needs of both user groups, ensuring ease of use for tenants and efficient management tools for admins.

User Needs
To ensure the app would meet the needs of both audiences, I defined the user requirements. Tenants needed a simple, intuitive interface that would allow them to easily submit work requests, upload photos, and track progress. Admins, on the other hand, needed a system to efficiently manage requests, update statuses, and communicate with tenants. I prioritized providing tools for admins to review and manage incoming work requests, update their statuses (e.g., in-progress, completed), and share updates with tenants in real-time.
Tech Stack
The core technologies used in building the app included FlutterFlow and Firebase. FlutterFlow enabled me to design the user interface and manage app workflows without needing extensive code, which significantly sped up the development process. The platform also supported cross-platform development, ensuring the app would function seamlessly across both web and mobile devices.
For the backend, I used Firebase, a powerful platform for user authentication, data storage, and real-time updates. Firebase made it easy to authenticate users, store maintenance requests, and instantly notify both tenants and admins of any updates or changes. This real-time capability was crucial for keeping all parties informed and improving the overall efficiency of the app.

Moodboard

To ensure a cohesive visual design, I created a moodboard that focused on clean lines, minimalistic typography, and a professional color palette. The goal was to convey reliability and ease of use while maintaining a polished and modern look. The color scheme featured calming tones of blue and gray, promoting trust and professionalism. The typography was chosen for its readability and modern feel, ensuring that both tenants and admins could navigate the app without distraction.
The moodboard also included image inspirations that reflected the app’s functional aspects. I opted for simple, clear icons and interface elements to guide users through the process without overwhelming them with unnecessary information. This design approach was essential for ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Brand Swag

To showcase NR Property Management’s branding, I designed a crew t-shirt and a custom note box package. These elements reinforce the brand’s identity, ensuring a professional and cohesive look for the team while enhancing brand recognition.
In conclusion, working on NR Property Management has been an incredible learning experience. The support from peers, feedback from mentors, and guidance from the faculty at NIC have been instrumental in shaping this project. As I look ahead, I am excited to continue improving the app and ensuring it serves the needs of tenants and admins alike. The goal is to keep enhancing its features, making maintenance management more efficient and accessible. I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to this journey. Together, we will keep moving forward, creating tools that make a meaningful impact.
